Supply Chain Assistant Manager Internship Tasks:Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, delivery, and returns on products.Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.Understand principles of accounting and finance.Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.Import/Export Internship Tasks:Consult clients regarding insurances, duties, and taxes.Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with regulations.Search for possibilities to reduce taxes.Maintain customer relations and participate in the organization's sales activities.Assess new marketing and sales opportunities and present those estimations to the respective management.Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports.
