Posting Date: 7 Nov 2024City: RozzanoLocation: Rozzano, IT, 20089Contract Type: PermanentDivision: Energy Engineering SolutionsLevel of experience: IntermediateRINA is currently recruiting for an Offshore Geotechnical Surveys Project Manager to join its office in Rozzano, Genoa, or Rome, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.MissionThe ideal candidate will be involved in offshore geotechnical and geophysical investigations and will work on multiple projects.Key AccountabilitiesProjects planning and management (initial planning of activities and team, preparation of execution plan, work schedule, sharing with team and customer, progress monitoring and reporting)Managing of Clients and Subcontractors/Partners (meetings, reporting, MOM preparation, follow up of action list)Preparation of technical-commercial proposals related to the geotechnical offshore surveysInterface with RINA geotechnical laboratoryDistributing activities internally and to subcontractors, supporting and monitoring activities carried outHandling clients' needs on a daily basis and meeting contractual deadlinesMain interfaces: RINA Surveys Director, Surveys Business Development Manager, Surveys Engineering team internally; customers, partners, contractors and suppliers externallyEducationMaster’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or GeologyQualificationsUp to 5 years of experience in Geotechnical and geophysical surveysExperience managing medium to large size projectsExperience in Geotechnical Tender preparation (technical and commercial)Good knowledge of English languageKnowledge of Windows packageCompetenciesMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsBUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organizationMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraintsTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionWith over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.Our business model covers the full process of project development, from concept to completion.
