JOB DESCRIPTION:Primary FunctionMolecular Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory. The role includes acting as an advisor/consultant to customers. The Account Manager is responsible for retention & value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.Major ResponsibilitiesNew business acquisitionRenewals of expiring contracts or new tenders issued by existing customers as well as price negotiations ensuring customers have the right pricesEstablish value propositions and build business casesPost‐sale involvement with customersDevelop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision-making units as well as clinicians and purchasing departmentsServe customer requests and forward them to the respective Service department on technical and applicational questionsBecome advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and/or designWork actively in the CRM system keeping customer data up to date, reporting activities and market dataAct as the single point of contact that responds to the customer promptlyEducationBachelor or Master degree or equivalentBackgroundExperience from IVD laboratory diagnostics businessExperience from sales preferable but not mandatory if having strong experience from the molecular diagnostic fieldExperience from molecular laboratory field mandatoryStrong experience maintaining and developing customer relationshipsNative in local language/English & other languages advantageousThe base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY: Sales ForceDIVISION: AMD MolecularLOCATION: Italy > Milan: Viale Edison 110, Edison Park CentreADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:WORK SHIFT: StandardTRAVEL: Yes, 75 % of the TimeMEDICAL SURVEILLANCE: Not ApplicableSIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES: Not Applicable
