You’ll know exactly who needs what and when, you’ll remember their names and you’ll use your creativity and experience to deliver a fantastic stay every time.In your role as Front Office, you’ll discuss and agree on some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department’s goals and priorities. You’ll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.Responsibilities:You’re responsible for offering the highest standard of service to our guests, making sure they are all applied at all times.You’ll be receiving guests at the Front desk by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.You’ll be answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls as well as inquiries via email or reservations.You’ll follow security procedures, such as monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges.You’ll organize the reception area while complying with office procedures, rules, and regulations.You’ll take care of handling cash, tabs, and transfer-related procedures in line with our procedures.You’ll make sure our meet-and-greet and goodbye tasks are carried out according to company standards.You’ll ensure we’re keeping to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation, both in your personal presentation and your own working space.You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team.What you bring:You’re knowledgeable about our operating procedures, including Open Table, check-in procedures, our floor plan, and room management.You’re a considerate and supportive team member, helping out wherever needed.You’re respectful of our surroundings, taking care of furniture, fixtures, and equipment within all areas and reporting any malfunction for maintenance.You’re happy to attend any meetings and training courses required by the Head of Department in line with the needs of the hotel.There’s a lot more to this job than we’ve given you here – don’t worry, we’ll fill you in on everything before you begin.
